Comfort For The Downcast 2 Corinthians 7:4-7

Life isn't easy, especially when we're committed to serving God. Satan, our adversary, employs a variety of tactics to dissuade us from ministry. He knows if he can discourage us, he might hinder what God wants to accomplish through us.
When the Apostle Paul traveled to Macedonia, he encountered a variety of disheartening challenges, including conflicts among Christians and questions regarding the outcome of his ministry to the Macedonians. Paul was so troubled about the situation that he couldn't rest; he was "cast down" and greatly affected by the problems confronting his ministry.
God knew exactly how to encourage Paul.He sent Titus, Paul's young protege and coworker, to lift Paul's spirits. Godly friends who are committed to ministry can encourage us with their prayers, wise counsel, and companionship. Remember that the God who "comforteth those that are cast down" will send encourager's into your life as you follow His will in ministry. Perhaps He's calling you to encourage a fellow believer today

If roses grow in Heaven Lord, please pick a bunch for me. Place them in my mothers arms and tell her they're from me. Tell her that I Love and miss her, and when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for a while. Because remembering her is easy, I do it everyday but there's an ache within my heart that will never go away.
